County Projects Coordinator

Bill Lord provides leadership, coordination and monitoring for the New Hampshire county-based demonstration and education projects supported through the state program. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of New Hampshire, serving as a tree fruit specialist. His current work focuses on integrated crop management and cultivar evaluation in tree fruit. He has worked for more than 25 years as fruit extension professor and specialist at the University of New Hampshire, and before that worked as a county extension agent in New Hampshire.

Bill has published a wide variety of papers on berry management, plasticulture and other fruit production topics. He grew up on a berry farm in New Durham, New Hampshire and has degrees in plant and soil science from the University of New Hampshire and the University of Massachusetts.
