Sustainable practices for agronomic and processing vegetable crops

corn

The state program at the University of Delaware will focus training efforts on topics of concern for farmers who produce agronomic crops and vegetables for processing. The project will provide education over the next three years (2011-2014) about improved nutrient management, efficient irrigation practices and practices like cover crops that can improve soil health on these fields, which are typically under intensive cultivation and cropping.
