Taking the whole picture
Holistic management is the educational focus of one of Rhode Island's state program education initiatives. This project will target agricultural service providers and farmers during the next three years (2011-2014) with training that helps service providers teach the holistic approach and provide more holistic recommendations when consulting with farmers, and helps farmers implement holistic management practices in their farm enterprises.
